Illness from mold exposure, symptoms, www.areyoumoldy.com

areyoumoldy.com Symptoms I experienced during the 9+ years I worked in a moldy environment. Many have gone away since I have been undergoing the PROPER MEDICAL TREATMENT. Fortunately, I was able to find medical doctors who KNOW about mold/mycotoxin illness–after a six-month search! Canada is requiring that ALL of their medical personnel be retrained, to learn the signs and symptoms of mold illness. I wish the US would do this!

  2. no the US would rather make money on continual antibiotic treatments, that in the end. make the problem worse…

  3. @Kenzofeis Yep, you are right…that is how penicillin was discovered–and why it’s called “penicillin” derived from penicillium; the mold “ate” the bacteria in a petri dish. If you are taking antibiotics, you should also be taking a good probiotic formula and detox after the antibiotic treatment! Some good “natural” antibiotics and anti-fungals are clove oil, wild oil of oregano, and grapefruit seed extract. Vitamin C also helps with infections.

  4. @Kenzofeis Cool, Thanx!

  5. Oh, one more thing, antibiotics (Penicillin and the likes) are also mycotoxins.
The reason most people “survive” it is a relatively low dosage, still, many suffers adverse effects from it – it does not need to be very noticeable.
But in the long run… some have analyzed statistics and reached the conclusion that cancer rates jumped up after Penicillin became widely used.

That is why it is important to treat ALL mold as if it is toxigenic when you are cleaning it up–to be safe. Wear proper PPE, or Personal Protection Equipment. Gloves, safety goggles, hazmat suit, N95 respirator. Remember that sometimes you may have no symptoms of illness, but mycotoxins do affect normal cell regeneration by inhibiting normal protein synthesis in the body, which can lead to various and numerous illnesses, including cancer.

That’s why I wrote the book-I had no idea of the health hazards of being exposed to toxigenic mold until I got sick from it….it is my prayer that ALL people become aware of the hazards of exposure, so they do not become sick as I did. While most sickness occurs from inhalation of toxic spores/mycotoxins, it can also occur through penetration through skin, eyes, etc. and from eating mold-contaminated foods.

  10. I had no idea. I had no problem cleaning this stuff with no mask on. “we parish for a lock of knowledge.” informative.

  11. Besides bleach what else can kill mold?

  12. @Gnarkill9095 Wow…sometimes God gives us messages through our dreams. Perhaps He was warning you! Bleach, when combined with mycotoxins, creates even more harmful VOC’s. Household bleach also contains sodium hypchlorite, which mold can actually FEED off of–the only thing bleach does to mold is “bleach it”. A 10% solution of chlorine (household bleach normally 2-3%) will kill mold-but this is very harmful to respiratory tract and very dangerous to use, leaves a harmful residue.

  15. Same thing happened to me, all problems solved by getting away from it and getting a hepa filter in my home, my car, at work and holding my breath outside…

  16. @areyoumoldy I checked out the site and it was very helpful. What’s weird is that I just had a dream last night that I was In solitary confinement in prison and there was mold that I told them to get rid of and they gave me bleach to use and as soon s I used it all the mold released a cloud of something(i had no knowledge to not use bleach) and it killed me. I’m a smoker though so It’s hard to tell what’s from smoking/mold. If I didnt smoke I’d be terrified right now

If it is a toxigenic mold, it could be very hazardous to your health. DON’T USE BLEACH!

  18. Great video man. I guess it doesn’t have too many vids because most people dont have mold in their homes. I have a room to my left that is always closed that has mold in it and i think i’m starting to be affected.

  19. I am so sorry, but glad that you are getting out. Will pray for all of you that you get out soon, and that you find a doctor who can help all of you.

  20. I have had alot of these symptoms for the past 3 years since i moved into this house and my landlord will not fix the 4000 dollars worth of mold that needs to be removed . my wife and kids have been sick to. We are looking for a new place finally.

  21. @revision2011
While not all molds are toxigenic, many molds that grow inside people’s homes are. The only way to tell for sure what mold it is is to do viable testing through a reputable source. If you are feeling sick, it is probably toxic, so it would be good to get the testing done asap. Maybe you could stay someplace else until you know for sure, especially since you are experiencing symptoms of being affected by it.

  22. Okay so is there any examples of different types of mold or do all molds create mycotoxins? I bought a mold detection kit and it’s growing mold. I don’t have the time to send it out to a lab because I have to tell my apartments ASAP. I have been feeling like really wierd and body aches & pains. Does it matter the type of mold? The mold thats growing in the petri dish looks like a dandelion when its dried up and in the center at the tips of it… it’s growing little black spots.

I can give you detailed info that way.

  24. @sheeeve08 Thank God you got out of there! It sounds like a totally contaminated environment

  25. To my last comment, I was never able to get to a lung specialist. Kroger claimed i didn’t work enough hours in the summer to be insured even though they took it out of my paycheck each week. I had to cancel my appointment. That part was recent, right before I quit when my breathing was getting so bad. I worked there for two years, they caused me to lose my income, health, etc. Now I’m clueless on what to do, and I still carry the majority of the symptoms I stated. Any advice?
