  1. Freekin crankin song. Awesome sound.

  2. Bob always mixes his vocals too low, and muddies them up with BG vocal layers! “Workbook” is the only album where his great lyrics stand out, because they are UP FRONT! I wanna do a audiological scan on this guy’s hearing!

  3. “I can change my mind like any other genius” just sends me.
Waves and waves of joy from this one *)

  4. A good album, but I never got ‘Hair Stew’ … or as I called it, ‘The Modem Song.’

  5. Why the fuck doesn’t he have any good videos of his last album “Life and times”? I think it’s a very good one!

  6. Mould is a legend! I almost wish I was gay to be able to truly appreciate his greatness!

  7. In addition to being a monster guitarist, Bob Mould is also a good keyboard player. After listening to this several times, it occurred to me that he’s playing a keyboard on this song (not a guitar!). I just wish they’d film him actually playing the damn thing!

  8. underrated album,this one.

  9. that’s funny because this is one of his best videos. I don’t get it his songs are so so so amazing

  10. The apotheosis of modern rock. “‘Alternative rock” is a corporate-created pussy marketing term designed to create feelings of inferiority — the way every single product is sold everywhere in the world.

  11. actually he’s not playing guitar it’s a keyboard plug into and amp with overdrive on

  12. great song but the video is bloody awful

  13. The main riff is a 3rd fret G-C-D, then modulates to bounce between 6th fret Bb-Db at 1:08 and ~2:00 (haven’t quite worked out the walk-down). It sounds like he’s playing harmonics with his index finger. I love the overdriven sound of this song – sounds like he’s got the neck firmly planted in the amp the entire time.

  14. excellent tune. Did anyone plunk out the chords/tabs to it?

  15. you are correct- i think grohl has carried on in a cobain spirit, and i have the utmost respect, and in his interviews he acknowledges his FRIEND.
I will always defer to the HUSKER dudes however. Check out bob’s newest effort (not the techno crap i guess he felt he had to produce for a certain audience).

  16. You’re definitely right. That’s not to say that Foo Fighters aren’t great, though.

  17. pretty much sums up FOOFIGHTERS and dave grohl, god love him….
    (no husker= no nirvana=sorry dave!)

  18. “this is genius, this is bullshit!”

  19. This is genuis!!!

  20. It’s the sound of my ego spinning out of control
Sounds in my head that might never come out
Stuck in my head, and forever reverberate
How do you pluck them out?

    Great.

  21. great song supposedly no guitr in the song all the music is keyboard sent through different effects don’t know if it’s true or not though.

  22. This Is A Great Video. It’s Trying To Do Something Different. Is It Me Or Does Bob Mould Look Really Ill In This Too?

  23. According to wikipedia, he’s from Malone.

  24. Interesting fact. Where about? I’m from Syracuse, go SU!

  25. Fun Fact: Bob Mould is originally from upstate New York, not Minnesota.
