What should I do about the mold growing on my lucky bean plant?

I’ve had this lucky bean plant for a little over a year now and just recently I’ve noticed some mold growing on a portion of one of the beans. I tried to remove some of the mold and it looks like the bean is rotting away. Should I remove the bean (if so, how would I go about doing this?) or let it naturally go away?

I had water leak through my ceiling awhile back, now I do a lot of sneezing and get plugged up all the time , I think i have mold or something . I do not know who test this out , I certainly cant. My throat is swelling up at night . I have to open the door and windows, and winter is coming on.
What brand of interior paint offers the highest degree of mold and mildew protection?
I know that most, if not all, paints have a certain amount of protection for this. But are there any paints known for having the most protection for this?
